Thank you.] About the Student CuratorsThe student curators from LASALLE College of the Arts have recently graduated from the BA (Hons) Fashion Media and Industries programme. They are Gabrielle Yeo, Felicia Toh, and Celestine Wong. Each one has a deep passion for fashion especially designing fashion for everyday wear, along with various other interests, including marketing communications, and creative direction. About #SGFASHIONNOW#SGFASHIONNOW explores fashion designs and approaches that reflect on today's Singapore fashion and heritage landscape. A collaboration with fashion industry and education partners, this exhibition was co-created with LASALLE School of Fashion students. The show includes a winning design from the Singapore Stories annual fashion design competition for emerging, locally based designers organised by the Textiles and Fashion Federation (TaFF). The museum’s first displays on local contemporary fashion, this project seeks to encourage new ways of thinking about Singapore fashion today.About Celestine Wong (Student Curator for 6th August) - ONLINECelestine is the founder of The Ables, and is a self-identified "people-fashion" designer. She finds motivation in emphasising what is socially relevant and necessary. She majored in Fashion Design for her Diploma in Fashion at LASALLE College of The Arts, and recently graduated with a BA (Hons) in Fashion Media and Industries.About Gabrielle Yeo (Student Curator for 3 September) - ONSITE Gabrielle Yeo graduated with a BA (Hons) Fashion Media and Industries from LASALLE College of the Arts. She is proficient in fashion theory, branding, and creative direction. Gabrielle has a passion for luxury and marketing communications, and has interned at Louis Vuitton and WhiteLabel PR.About Felicia Toh (Student Curator for 8 October)Felicia is a multi-disciplinary creative skilled in branding, marketing communications, creative direction, and photography. She has been on exchange at Falmouth University (UK), and has interned at Shiseido, Singapore. Felicia was a recipient of the Brother Joseph McNally Memorial Scholarship and has recently graduated with a BA (Hons) in Fashion Media and Industries from LASALLE.Frequently Asked Questions1. How many people are allowed per onsite tour? 5 pax per tour. For online tours, up to 25 pax can attend. 2. What is the suitable age to participate in this programme?Ages 15 and above would probably enjoy the tour.3. Where is the meeting point and what time should I be there? (Applicable to onsite tours on 3 Sept and 8 Oct only)Meeting point is in the ACM lobby. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the tour to check in. Tours will begin promptly at 7.30pm. Please approach Front Desk upon arrival to ACM to get your admission sticker prior to the tour. Please note that there is complimentary entry into the permanent galleries and the #SGFASHIONNOW special exhibition for Singaporeans/PR. Other visitors will need to purchase a ticket at $20, which will include access into the permanent galleries, #SGFASHIONNOW special exhibition and the Life in Edo | Russel Wong in Kyoto special exhibition.4. What do I need to do if I am attending the online tour on 6 August? Please ensure you have a Zoom account and the app downloaded and installed on your desktop, phone, or table, with working camera and audio functions. The app is free to download here. A day before the tour starts, a link will be sent to each registered participant with the meeting ID and password.Please download the Zoom app before the tour to prevent delays. Please log into the Zoom virtual tour with the same name as your Peatix account so we can identify you.5. How long is the tour?About 45 minutes. 6. Why is there a refundable deposit of $10?As spaces are highly limited, the deposit ensures that the curator’s time is maximised and that all registered participants will attend.
