The Covid-19 pandemic has been a distressing time for parents and utterly impactful for our young children.  We need to ensure our children are given the chance to explore, to discover new skills, to make new friends and importantly, to have fun. The need to keep up with essential skills such as choice and decision making are very real. In recent news, the government plans on outdoor conservation are slowly emerging. This is a golden opportunity to educate our young children about conservation efforts and making better choices outdoors.  Program DetailsOur new programme, Wilderness from Home (WFH) virtual day-camp as a solution to this dilemma. Facilitated via Zoom and with facilitators broadcasting from indoor and outdoor environments, participating children get to learn about the consequences of their choices when preparing to go outdoors through interactive and educational activities. These activities include responsibly packing their own outdoor sandwiches, to a virtual nature trail at Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, and wrapping up with an Old-Shirts-to-New-Bags upcycling art workshop.Key HighlightsLearn through play - our Wilderness from Home (WFH) virtual day-camp keeps your children engaged in a learning journey of responsible outdoor practices and decision-making, in the safety and comfort of your own homes.
