Learn to grow your own salad! Participants will learn to sow seeds as well as some basic soil-based gardening tips. You will take home a pot of "salad-to-be" each. We will also be harvesting from the garden and making a salad together!Suitable for children between 4 and 12 years old.Each child must be accompanied by an adult. Class size is limited to 12 children.P.S. Reusable tableware will be provided. Please bring your own containers if you would like to take some salad home.About the instructor: Siang Yu is an urban farmer with Edible Garden City. She has worked on organic farms in France, Thailand and Indonesia. Moving back to Singapore, she hopes to bring agriculture as well as the respect for food and the environment back to the urban community.
