In our image-saturated world, it has become
crucial for our children to be able to understand and critique the images
around them. Join educator and author,
Claudine Fernandez, in a workshop for families that aims to equip parents with
visual literacy strategies to help children make meaning from images.
The workshop will take families to explore the work of renowned artist Yayoi
Kusama at Ota Fine Arts Singapore through a series of Harvard Project Zero
thinking routines. This is followed by a hands-on process of clay-making and
creative writing. Families will draw on inspiration from artworks to create
original pieces of writing!
