An international ensemble, TimeMachine is a proud mixture of local and intercontinental talent. Musically they are a working combination consisting of two highly talented and versatile guitarists, keyboards, bass guitar and percussion.Lead and Rhythm guitar – Simon Leo … a locally known musician with a repertoire that encompasses virtually every musical style you can imagine. A highly talented lead guitarist, Simon is an extraordinary ‘picker.’ He also sings with equal skill, providing both lead and back-up vocals.Keyboards – Jimmie James (aka Jim Omps) … is from the U.S., most recently Las Vegas, Nevada, he started out several years ago as a guitarist but came back to his musical roots and has been on keys for a few decades now. Jimmie also handles his share of the vocal … both lead and back-up.Lead and Rhythm guitar – David … is so young and so talented. This home grown ‘kid’ has talent that supersedes his 27 years. A big fan of such well known guitarists as Stevie Vai and Joe Satriani, David can hold his own with the best.Drums and Percussion – Robert … he’s the musician responsible for laying down the rhythm track that makes is possible for the listener or dancer to ‘move to the beat.’ At home on a full kit, percussion instruments or a Cajon, he keeps the tempo even and the dancers moving.Bass Guitar – Peter ... provides the bottom that makes the whole thing work. With years of experience on his instrument, he delivers the solid backing to the rhythm of the selection being played. He’s only one of five but without his input … it’s a zero.Among them, this pairing has well over a century of musical entertainment experience. Their genre is as eclectic as the musical tastes of the crowd in the room. They specialize in Classic Rock but also perform Country, Pop, Nostalgia and … well … you name it.TimeMachine weaves a musical tapestry that will take you back to the ‘good old days’ when life was less stressful, holidays were more fun and you were … for lack of a better term... younger??!!!?An interesting side note … the group met and first got together at Brickfields Asia College (BAC) at the school’s Rock Academy, created by BAC’s Raja Singham. It was in the rehearsal studio these particular musicians found that they had a great deal in common … primarily their love of playing music. So … TimeMachine is now available to take you - on their magic bus - all the way back to your younger days … musically speaking!UNIQUE SHOW IN BANGSAR!
