DanzINC Festival
DanzINC – International Dancers &
Choreographers’ Residency Festival, conceived in 2004, is a biennial festival
that gathers creative international artistes to promote international
cross-cultural exchanges via contemporary dance.
Since 2012, DanzINC has evolved to a new
6-month festival, developing creative strategies with other international
festivals, for dance-making that reflects the nuances of cultural differences
and similarities; fostering new and deepening choreographic ways to experiment,
collaborate and interpret artistic expressions. It synergizes new efforts in
the promotion of professional contemporary dance and dance education between
the artistes and the community, serving as an important platform for valuable
experience sharing with the local and global communities. Since 2004, more than
250 international artistes from Australia, Austria, Canada, China, Germany,
Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Sweden, Taiwan, Thailand and
USA have participated in DanzINC.
