This is a new outing destination and it's main focus is also a little different to our usual outings. In this outing we will concentrate on COMPOSITION and CANDID STREET PHOTOGRAPHY We will meet at the bottom of Emerald Hill Road and will start with a brief tutorial on some general principals. Then we will photograph some of the lovely residential shophouses for a short while before we head down to Orchard Rd again, where we will 'hang out' to look for opportunities to shoot some storytelling street photography. A visit to the spectacular footbridge depicted above is also planned. We will discuss tips and tricks to avoid common mistakes and to maximise image quality in a variety of different settings.This outing is open to those shooting in Auto or M mode. You will have one on one time and you can ask questions as we go along. We unfortunately will not have time to teach general principals of photography but we will focus a lot on composition.Any lens can be used on this outing but for the architectural shots a wide angle lens ( around 18mm) would be great. We will handhold for all the shots so a tripod is not required. Group size minimum 3 max 4. A cancellation refund is available up until 3 days before the event but not thereafter. In the case of heavy rain and thunderstorms the outing will be rescheduled.
