South of England forum event

The next BCI South of England forum event will be held in Sandwich, Kent on Thursday 29th of September.

One of the themes of this event will be product recalls. Last year the number of product recalls jumped 26% and a number of high profile incidents such as the Volkswagen emissions recall incident showed how damaging these recalls can be for organisations.

Lynda Reynard from Kent Trading Standards will draw on her experience of advising businesses to explain what the law requires and practically how a business can be prepared for a recall.

We will also talk about security incidents involving mass evacuations and active shooters. We will be joined by a speaker from the Metropolitan Police's Project Griffin who will speak about the current threat posed by international and domestic terrorism and violent extremism, Hostile Reconnaissance; what it is and how to report it and what to consider in the event of a terrorist attack or incident.

Forum events are a great place to meet other professionals, hear about the latest developments in the profession and build your personal network. At just £50 for a whole days content which includes lunch, refreshments and a CPD certificate, the event is great value.
