Join artist Khairullah Rahim on an exploration of Pearl Lam Galleries' group exhibition, " In Silence", which features works by 8 artists from international strongholds in contemporary art. The exhibition draws inspiration from Nyepi Day, or "day of silence", which marks the Balinese New Year. On this day, self-restraint and silent reflection is observed for 24 hours, after which one is healed and can begin the renewal of ties with those around them.Inspired by the processes and materials used in the artwork featured, Khai will lead you to explore charcoal and Chinese ink and dive into the meditative and performative side of art-making! Art Explorers is an initiative by Art Outreach to promote art appreciation and visual literacy in Singapore.- - -FEE: This free workshop is for adults and families with children aged 7 - 12 years.
