Find out more here! About the Workshop Duration: 1hrLearn more about batik and patchwork making! Participants will learn two basic embroidery stiches and create their very own mini patchwork quilt from recycled batik scraps.This workshop is suitable for children ages 8 and up.Due to safe-distancing measures, only ticketholders will be allowed into the workshop during the specified sessions.Participants are encouraged to arrive 10 minutes before the start of the workshop for registration.About the ArtistAlysha Rahmat Shah is a Singapore-based artist who graduated from LASALLE College of the Arts with a BA (Hons) in Fine Arts. Although she majored in printmaking, she has gone on to work with other media, including embroidery and experimentation with textiles. Her works centre around different Southeast Asian myths and mysticism, and how they pertain to current issues in society. She has been a part of several exhibitions and performance pieces, and has also hosted art classes and camps for both adults and children.
