About the Instructor: William Hooi
William Hooi is the co-founder & CEO of Espert Pte Ltd, an IoT start-up that hopes to lead the adoption in IoT by empowering non-technical users to learn and build their very own connected products, services and solutions easily, quickly and affordably. A person wearing many hats: he used to serve in the public school system in various capacities for 15 years before leaving to co-found the first national prototyping centre, the One Maker Group. An experienced event organizer and fervent evangelist in the nascent maker movement in Singapore and the region, he is also co-founder and the Executive Director of the SG Makers Association.
