The story involves Cliff Bradshaw, an American author working on a novel in Berlin, who encounters Sally Bowles at the seedy Kit Kat Klub where she performs. When she is fired by the club’s owner, she moves in with Cliff and the two fall in love. As the Nazis begin taking control of the German government, the atmosphere of the Kit Kat Klub and the lives of Cliff and Sally begin to change dramatically. Show may not be suitable for those 12 years and under.The Long Island Musical Theatre Festival provides students with the opportunity to work with Broadway guest artists, perform a fully staged musical with a professional orchestra, and receive training from current Broadway professionals.
