If you love English and want to know what kind of words the British use in their day-to-day conversations then check out our slang workshop!WARNING! This workshop is for people who are interested in real spoken English! Not the kind of formal English learnt at school or in textbooks!Knowledge of some of the most widely used English slang is essential! Without it, you will have trouble following natural conversation between Native speakers! Your ability to understand films, songs and TV shows will also be improved if you know some colloquial expressions.In this workshop we will look at some of the most commonly used British slang expressions.We will look at slang related to greetings, feelings and insults.You will have the chance to practice using these expressions in a relaxed, fun environment.Ticket Information < For Non British Council students> This event page is for Non British Council Students. Current British Council students get a discount of 1000 yen off the regular ticket price (1500yen instead of 2500 yen) on a first-come, first-served basis when purchasing a ticket through this page. We regret that we cannot offer a refund if you buy a full price ticket but are eligible for a discount. For non-students (including family or friends of current students), please apply to purchase a ticket (2500 yen) from this page. We are afraid we cannot give any refunds after the purchase of tickets. The application and ticket payment process Sign up deadline: 6PM 17 Sep This ticket is not on a first-come, first-served basis. Please apply to purchase a ticket before the deadline. If the number of applicants exceeds capacity, we will select 25 of the applicants at random. The result of your ticket application will be emailed to you on 17 September after 6PM.f your application is successful, you will receive an e-mail from Peatix. Please then pay for the ticket via the URL link in the email. You must pay for the ticket by 20th September, otherwise the ticket will be cancelled.If there are any cancellations after the payment deadline, applicants will be chosen at random from the waiting list. They will receive an email from Peatix on September 21st and must pay for the ticket(s) by 24th September. You are not able to change the number of tickets (maximum 2tickets per person) after the deadline.
