Circuit Tiles

Inspired by littleBits, and for your little ones, is a new experience in basic electronics called Circuit Tiles. Developed by Yee Chern, a young maker with a penchant for electronics, Circuit Tiles are specially built to be kid-friendly. Utilising a modular system, your children will be able to read and understand circuit diagrams. Join your child and sign up as a pair to learn a new a skill and keep abreast with the exciting tech movement.

What you will learn
  • Learn about basic electronics, including reading and understanding circuit diagrams
  • Learn how to solder, soldering wire-wire, wire-metal surface (spring, switches etc)
  • Use the bandsaw to cut the tiles, then files, belt sander and sandpaper to smoothen the edges
  • Learn to use a power drill or drill press to make holes for component legs or wires to go through
