The G20 principles for Quality Infrastructure Investment (QII) were adopted at the Osaka Summit in June 2019. Based on these principles, the World Bank Group and the Government of Japan established the Quality of Infrastructure Investment (QII) Partnership, which aims to improve the quality of infrastructure in developing countries by raising awareness about its importance.TDLC, in collaboration with the QII Partnership, has recently published case studies that document the economic efficiency and infrastructure governance of Fukuoka City’s efforts to build a more efficient water management system and Toyama City’s initiatives to develop as a compact city.
