 Global Digicon Salon  008 Croquet5G・ARライブ・コラボレーションの新世界A new world of 5G / AR live collaboration 2021.2.21(Sun)10:00-12:00（Japan Time） 2021.2.20(Sat)17:00-19:00（U.S. West Coast Time）第8回めとなる 「グローバル・デジコンサロン 008」は、日本時間で2021年2月21日（日）10:00〜12:00、米国西海岸時間で2021年2月20日（土）17:00〜19:00、グローバルなスケールで開催します。テーマは、「Croquet〜A new world of 5G / AR live collaboration（Croquet〜5G・ARライブ・コラボレーションの新世界）」です。Croquet（クロケー）は、 米国Croquet Corporationが開発したライブ・コラボレーションを実現する革新的な次世代プラットフォームです。コロナ禍の中、テレワークやオンライン教育が急速に広まっていますが、現状のテレワーク、オンライン教育では、「その場に集まって、共同作業をする」ことまではできません。しかし、Croquetであれば、それが可能になります。たとえば、会議室や教室に集まって、みんなでホワイトボードにアイデアを書き込んでいく。みんなで共同で絵を描いたり、絵コンテを作成していく。みんなで様々な資料を持ち寄って、それについて議論をしていくといったことが可能になるのです。さらに、CroquetのSDKを用いてアプリ／ゲーム／シミュレーション開発をすれば、AI・ロボット・IoTとの組み合わせによって、バーチャル旅行やバーチャル留学、バーチャル協業、遠隔診療、遠隔介護など、様々な5G・ARライブ・コラボレーションの新世界が無限に広がっていきます。基調講演では、参加者全員でCroquetのライブ・コラボレーションを実際に体験しながら、Croquet Corporation 共同設立者の大島芳樹さんに、その概要を解説していただきます。そして、パネルディスカッションでは、インフォシティの岩浪剛太さん、プラネットの林大介さん、元『日経MAC』編集長の林伸夫さん、テクノロジーライターの大谷和利さんとともに、Croquetによってどのような5G・ARライブ・コラボレーションの新世界が実現するのか、その可能性や課題について様々な観点から議論をしていきます。The 8th "Global Digicon Salon 008" will be held on a global scale on February 21, 2021 (Sun) 10: 00-12: 00 (Japan time) and February 20, 2021 (Sat) 17:00-19:00 (U.S. West Coast Time).The theme is "Croquet ~ A new world of 5G / AR live collaboration".
