Indian Traditional Art: Kolam WorkshopPhysical programme27 Feb 2021, 2.30pm – 3.30pm, Geylang Serai Heritage GalleryKolam, which means “beauty” in Tamil and also known as Rangoli, is a floor drawing artwork made with coloured flour that adorns the entryways of homes during Deepavali or other celebratory festivals. Join us for an interactive hands-on session in person to learn to make your own Kolam art piece!The session will be conducted in English. Participants are required to keep their masks on throughout the workshop.Note to Participants:• Seats for this free programme are limited and resources have been put in to deliver the session. Please be considerate and register only if you can attend.• By agreeing to join the programme, each participant shall be responsible for any injury, loss of damage due to carelessness of other actions on his/her part or that of children under his/her charge.• Parents/guardians must accompany any child under the age of 12.• The programme will begin on time.• Tickets are non-transferable. Please present your electronic ticket or printed ticket as proof of registration.• Photographs may be taken for marketing and publicity purposes.• The programme is limited to a maximum of 1 ticket per person.• Participants are encouraged to arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of the programme.
