The program culminates in a showcase day, where the youth teams present their ideas for change to a panel of judges, parents, peers, teachers, youth organisations and the general public. Teams stand the chance of securing funding for their ideas as well as winning access to courses, mentorship and other support kindly sponsored by generous partners. Launched in 2015 and now in its second year, the initiative CHAMPIONS youth as problem-solvers for today and into the future. We CHALLENGE them to take risks for social good and CREATE an environment with no boundaries to foster innovative thinking and creativity. The COMMUNITY is the backbone of the initiative of which the program and students draw support, strength, inspiration and motivation from. The initiative could not happen without the support of many stakeholders that are committed promoting to creating safe, creative, and challenging environments to foster youth social entrepreneurship in Singapore. Project Aspire is proudly organised and CHAMPIONED by Singapore Committee for UN Women. We champion youth to be empowered, educated and enabled to take on the challenges of the current and future generations. The initiative is POWERED by the National Youth Council Singapore and we welcome the ongoing support of CHALLENGE partner, muru-D. We aim to CREATE an environment with no boundaries to foster ongoing creativity and thank *SCAPE, Make the Change and Speech Academy Asia for their role in making this happen. The COMMUNITY is why and how the program and the students stay motivated. With thanks to Dignity Kitchen, Bettr Barista, The Nail Social, IDEO Singapore, the Change Leader Academy, Books Actually & Band of Doodlers for providing that support.
