During the class you’ll receive feedback based on the pre-filmed material and gain further insights into how to perfect the results of your work.You will need a phone, laptop or camera, an internet connection and a quiet enough space at home to film yourself and participate in the zoom sessions.Through mental and emotional exercises you’ll get to train your “acting muscles” and expand your knowledge on different techniques and approaches to capture your own performance on camera. You’ll exercise your imagination and ability to bring your “best game” no matter the circumstances.You’ll discover the character, relationship, goals and mannerisms of your particular scene and then work over four weeks to make the best possible choices to bring out your very best performance.Some of the aspects we’ll cover are: Scene Analyses Making strong and unique choices Physical and emotional preparation before starting a scene Truly connecting with your scene partner (or imagined circumstances in case of a monologue) Selftaping This class is suitable for actors with and without previous experience, who have a serious interest in pursuing acting as a professional career.* Any student already signed up for the 2 month “Autonomous Acting” class before January 24th can participate in this class free of charge. About Marei Annis Marei Annis is an actress, producer and writer, originally from Germany, who spent the past five years between London and Los Angeles, founding her own film production company “AVA – All Visions Align Ltd” which has produced two feature films in only two years and is now establishing a branch of operations in Tokyo.She studied a variety of acting techniques in Berlin, London and Los Angeles with coaches such as Bernard Hiller, Lisa Pescia, Mike Bernardin, Monika Gossmann and Petra Wolf and eventually developed her own technique in guiding actors to express their most unique qualities through their performance.
