For the first time, Mindfulness in Schools Project partner Anima Learning will bring the .b Teacher Training to the southeast region of the United States. As always, we will demonstrate the lessons in real-time, explore the pedagogy of the .b curriculum, and share our experience of teaching .b in the classroom while also supporting a nourishing, restful, retreat ‘feel’ to the course. Participants will have the opportunity to practice teaching key exercises to one another, in order to leave feeling confident and empowered to teach the curriculum to young people aged 11-18.The course fee of $995 will include tuition, lunches and refreshments for the four days of training. Participants coming from farther afield can secure rooms at the Courtyard Hotel under our negotiated rate (regular rate if we have fewer than 10 staying). We will start with registration at 8:00 am on Thursday morning, the 15th, and conclude on Sunday, the 18th by 3:00 pm. Most training days will start with a period of sitting at 8:00am and conclude by 5:30pm. Please note: participants who want full certification must attend each lesson and stay through our final session.
