Please find details of the cancellation procedure here. ----------提案力のある批評性（criticism）の提示と、新たな表現価値の創造性（creation）を支援することを目指して2003年から活動している日本ダンスフォーラム（JaDaFo）は、評論家、学者、研究者、ディレクター、プロデューサー等の複合的な舞踊関係者によって構成され、次回で15回目となる「日本ダンスフォーラム賞」を中心にシンポジウム等の事業を展開しています。今回は、北村明子、湯浅永麻、矢内原美邦の3名のゲストアーティストとJaDaFoメンバーが、コンテンポラリーダンスを取り巻く環境、世界と日本のダンスの系譜と潮流、アート領域におけるダンス等をテーマに、コンテンポラリーダンスの過去・現在・未来を巡る、三部構成のシンポジウムを行います。JaDaFoメンバー：尼ヶ崎彬／石井達朗／榎本了壱／岡見さえ／小野晋司／楫屋一之／川崎徹／唐津絵理／佐藤まいみ／立木燁子／西田留美可／貫成人／芳賀直子／三浦雅士13:00～14:30｜テーマ1：「コンテンポラリーダンスの環境～ダンサー、メディア、プロデューサーの視点から」パネラー：楫屋一之（進行）、北村明子（ゲスト）、岡見さえ、小野晋司1990年前後からの四半世紀、バブル景気とその崩壊の時代の只中、失われた20年の舞台芸術を巡るトピックス。文化施策とメセナ活動による経済的支援の開始、全国主要都市に建設される創造型公共劇場が担うことになる地域の文化活動拠点としての責務、劇場法や文化芸術振興基本法を含む環境整備を巡る成果と課題。創造活動と評論やメディアとの関係性はどうだろうか、メディアの多様性はつくり手を支えるのだろうか？ コンテンポラリーダンスを取り巻く環境がどの様に変化してきたのか、つくり手、メディア、制作者、それぞれの視点から振り返り未来への展望を試みる。14:45～16:15｜テーマ2：「コンテンポラリーダンスの総括～ダンスの系譜と歴史」パネラー：尼ケ崎彬（進行）、湯浅永麻（ゲスト）、佐藤まいみ、貫成人「コンテンポラリーダンス」とは何だったのだろう。それは「ポストモダンダンス」（米）や「ヌーヴェルダンス」（仏）のような一つのジャンルだったのだろうか。それとも1990年代以降の多様な試みに広く投網をかけるための便利な呼称だったのだろうか。私たちがそれらに漠然と感じていた共通項はその舞踊観なのだろうか、それとも時代の感性なのだろうか。日本と海外では事情が違うのだろうか。さまざまな立場のパネラーから見えたものを語ってもらい、曖昧な「コンテンポラリーダンス」の像を少しでも焦点が結べるものにしたい。18:15～18:45｜第15回JaDaFo賞授賞式日本ダンスフォーラム（JaDaFo）は2003年、日本のコンテンポラリーダンスの活動を支援する団体として創設された。プロデューサー、舞踊研究家、評論家等によって組織されている。当初はシンポジウム、レクチャーを中心とした活動をしてきたが、2006年より優れた作品を発表した作家、ダンサーを顕彰する年間賞「日本ダンスフォーラム賞（JaDaFo賞）」を制定して発表を重ね、今年で15年目となる。このJaDaFo賞の発表と授賞式を、今回のシンポジウムと合わせて一つのプログラムとした。受賞者たちからのメッセージも伝えていく。プログラムの詳細はこちら。----------Established in 2003, the missions of the Japan Dance Forum (JaDaFo), comprising critics, scholars, researchers, directors and producers who multilaterally engage in dance, are presentation of criticism that is capable or proposal and support for creation of new expressional values. It organizes such projects as the Japan Dance Forum Award, which celebrated the 15th anniversary in the next edition. In this three-part symposium, three guest artists (Akiko Kitamura, Ema Yuasa and Mikuni Yanaihara) and JaDaFo members discuss the environment of contemporary dance, the genealogies and currents of dance in Japan and the world, and the dances in the field of arts, exploring the past, present and future of contemporary dance. Details to be announced.JaDaFo members are Akira Amagasaki, Tatsuro Ishii, Ryoichi Emonoto, Sae Okami, Shinji Ono, Kazuyuki Kajiya, Toru Kawasaki, Eri Karatsu, Maimi Sato, Akiko Tachiki, Rumika Nishida, Shigeto Nuki, Naoko Haga and Masashi Miura.13:00～14:30 | Theme 1: Environment of Contemporary Dance — from the Viewpoint of Dancers, Media and ProducersPanelists: Kazuyuki Kajiya (Facilitator), Akiko Kitamura (Guest), Sae Okami and Shinji OnoWe will discuss how performing arts have evolved over the last quarter century from 1990, and the time of bubble economy and the post-collapsed period, and the “lost 20 years” addressing topics such as the launch of financial assistance programs via cultural policies and mécénat activities, creative public theaters that will be built in major cities and thus will be responsible for local cultural activities, and the achievements and challenges of improving the environment for contemporary dance including Act on the Vitalization of Theaters and Halls and Basic Act for the Promotion of Culture and the Arts. What are the relationships between creation activities and critics or the media? Can diverse forms of media contribute to support creators? How has the contemporary dance environment been changed? We will reflect on this from the viewpoints of creators, media and producers and explore their respective prospects for the future.14:45～16:15 | Theme 2: General Overview of Contemporary Dance — Dance Genealogy and HistoryPanelists: Akira Amagasaki (Facilitator), Yuasa Ema (Guest), Maimi Sato and Shigeto NukiWhat is “contemporary dance”? Is it the name of one genre such as “postmodern dance” (USA) or “nouvelle danse” (France)? Or is it a convenient term used to refer to various forms that have tried after 1990? Do we share the same general idea of what it encompasses? Or is it just the expression of a particular sensibility these days? Is the meaning any different in Japan versus overseas? Representing a variety of standpoints, the panelists will outline their views on what “contemporary dance” is really about.18:15～18:45 | The 15th JaDaFo Award CeremonyThe Japan Dance Forum (JaDaFo) was established in 2003 as an organization to support contemporary dance and its activities in Japan, and comprises producers, dance researchers, critics and others. While their early activities focused on symposia and lectures, in 2006 they also founded the “Japan Dance Forum Award (JaDaFo Award)” to recognize creators and artists of outstanding productions. This year they are commemorating the 15th anniversary of the award and they will announce the winners at the ceremony.
