This project responds to an urgent humanitarian situation that made international headlines when 273 people in Roka, a poor rural area of Northwestern Cambodia, were found to have been infected by HIV. The outbreak originated from the use of contaminated needles by a private health clinician. 60% of those infected are women and girls.In light of National HIV Testing Day on 27th June, we will be partnering with Action for AIDS (AfA) to hold a free workshop, which hopes to debunk myths surrounding HIV and introduce AfA's new initiative, Ladies Night, which offers free HIV testing for women. Jing Lin, a counsellor at Anonymous Testing Service (ATS) and Lokman Hakeem Mohdar, manager for ATS and Mobile Testing Service, will speak at the panel discussion. Join us to learn more.
