Intense dark-ruby colour with aromas of ripe blackberry, cherry, and spices. The palate is elegant, with tannins, and a long and luxurious finish. Pairings: crackling crispy pork; tempura of shiitake and lotus root.Domaine Alain Jaume & Fils Chateauneuf-du-Pape – Cuvee Les Origines 2010A terrific Chateauneuf-du-Pape with great concentration and finesse. Deep and brilliant, purple-red colour. Aromas of black fruit, spices, and vanilla. A complex palate: spices and ripe fruit with elegant woodiness and harmonious tannins; good long finish.
