(English information below)ストリーミング配信（ZOOMかYouTube-Live）日英逐次通訳つきコロナ禍でアートやもの作りの世界でも、これまでの創作の営みや交流が制限されるようになりました。そんな中、ゲーテ・インスティトゥート大阪・京都とCOS KYOTO/Design Week Kyotoは、日独のアーティストと職人が時間と距離を越え、互いの仕事を紹介し合うプロジェクト「オンライン工房」を始めました。様々な分野の作品・工芸品の創作現場（工房）に目を向け、その多様なコンセプトと技法、クリエイターたちの交流の様子を、工房からライブ配信でお届けします。今年最後のオンライン工房では、創業から300年を超える今日まで変わらない製法で薫香製造を営む松栄堂を取りあげます。宗教用の薫香をはじめ、茶の湯の席で用いる香木や練香、お座敷用のお線香や手軽なインセンス、匂い袋など「香百般」の製造・販売を手がける松栄堂。今回の配信では、お香の歴史や原料、その種類と用途、たき方についてもご紹介します。参加方法：①ZOOMによる参加（定員約20名／要事前申し込み>メール: Noriko.Sawai@goethe.de）オンタイムで工房とつながり、職人に直接質問することができます。※ZOOMの映像は後日YouTubeページで公開されます。ご了承の上参加ください。②YouTube-Live（事前申し込み不要）開始時間になったら、以下リンクからご視聴いただけます。ZOOMのストリーミングから約20秒ほど遅れて配信されます。YouTubeのコメント機能を使って質問や感想を送ることができますが、時間の関係上、全てのコメントにお答えできない場合があります。ご了承ください。https://youtu.be/UXupKk4qHCg---ENGLISH---Incense and its production - ONLINE KOBO Vol.8 Shoyeido (松栄堂) – 300 Years and twelve generations of excellenceDate: Thursday, December 17th 2020, 7.30 – 9.00 a.m. [CET] / 3:30-5:00 p.m. [JST]Free for participation via ZOOM or YouTube LiveThe stream is interpreted consecutively in Japanese-English.More informationOnline Kobo offers insights into the artistic, technical and conceptual work of artists and craftspeople in Japan and Germany. We plan to present various fields of work in cooperation with COS KYOTO, organizer of Design Week Kyoto.In the eighth episode, we introduce one of the oldest fabricants of incense: Shoyeido, which is based in Kyoto, produces high-quality incenses using the same production methods for over 300 years. All kinds of incenses are made for various uses, including for the Japanese tea-ceremony, religious rituals, for relaxation in everyday life and even for fragrance bags of kimonos. Additionaly, the history of incenses as well as the materials for its production, various kinds and functions of incense and its lighting will be presented.About ShoyeidoThere are the following two possibilities for participation:1.
