Keep calm and sew. That's what over 70 participants did at the Renew Earth Sweat Shop sewing workshops through these pandemic months. We are proud to announce that the Renew Earth Sweat Shop and all our combined upcycled creations will now find a home at HEARTH art space by Art Outreach.But we aren't done sewing yet! Our sewing stations will STAY OPEN from Friday 20 to Friday 27 November for our community of participants and those who want to join us for the first time to come tackle the mountain of quality second-hand clothes and turn them into wearable fashions. All before we open our doors to the public on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 November. We also have a line-up of looming, fashion styling for social media and professional photography workshops. Learning new skills that could help us upcycle clothes can help diminish waste. How we see our clothes, wear our clothes and ultimately find love for them, are as important in influencing the conscious and unconscious choices we make every day and their far reaching aftereffects.Covid rules still apply with safe distancing measures and a maximum of 6 pax in the space at all times so book your slots early to keep sewing!
