Hideaways - Creating with Nature's Creative Director Jeremy Chu has brought together some of Singapore’s most inventive artists to provide this multi-disciplinary programme. These workshops explore the themes of ‘Hideaways – Creating with Nature’ in depth and in different ways through these workshops led by special creators experienced in working with nature.

About Gimme Shelter: What do you get if you cross the wings of a beetle, the legs of an ant and the spots of a ladybird? A new fantasy animal who needs somewhere to live! Take part in “Gimme Shelter”, where you can construct your own fantasy insect using photos, and imagine with biologist Adeline Seah the lifestyle of your new creature. For example, is it vegetarian? who are it's enemies? what kind of "home" would it live in? With free drawing, collage, and plenty of interesting natural materials, this workshop presents a great combination of art, insects and creativity and has been conceived by the artists’ collective, The People’s Atelier. Children can bring home their creations.

Side Note: Kindly note that you will need to purchase an admission ticket if you wish to stay at the Children’s Centre for Creativity after 1pm. Please note that tickets once purchased may not be refunded. However, it may be transferred to other programmes of the same value, subject to availability.
