As part of the University of Wollongong Bachelor of Commerce, students are required to do a capstone project, where they participating in a simulation environment called the UOW Commerce Interactive Dynamic Learning Environment (IDLE). IDLE simulates the operations of a team of managers running a company. The teams have taken over the operations of a smart phone company in a race for market leadership, competing against rival Smartphone companies run by other teams of class members. As a part of this they have a requirement to focus on the triple bottom line - PEOPLE, PLANET & PROFIT!At the end of the subject, students present their findings to the "Board of Directors" for the company in a final presentation.We need board members!As a board member you would:View a maximum of 7 presentations (8 mins maximum per presentation - we have allowed 3 hours, but it should be approximately 2)Score the presentations based on the criteria we provide to youAsk questions and provide some verbal feedback We have a small gift as a thank you for those willing to give some of their time, but we hope that you will provide valuable feedback to our students in one of their final subjects before they graduate.If you are interested, please click on GET TICKET on the right -->Or you can contact me directly to RSVP or if you need any further information.
