He has more than 30 years’ work experience in the banking sector. From 1981 to 2002 he was employed at Deutsche Bank and was most recently Managing Director of the Corporate and Investment Bank Division. He was born on 19 March 1955 in Bensberg. He is a qualified bank officer and completed a degree course in Business Administration at the University of Cologne. Wolfgang Kirsch is Chairman of the Supervisory Board of R + V Versicherung AG, Bausparkasse Schwäbisch Hall AG and Union Asset Management Holding AG.
