Across cultures, baskets are used for holding things, and moving things around, among other uses. What do you do with baskets? What do they hold for you? Club Rainbow (Singapore) and Rolypoly Family invited 4 youths from the Club Rainbow community to workshops where we moved, explored and danced together, with each person’s exploration taking its own path. In this online presentation, Rolypoly Family shares about the workshops, as well as excerpts from their dance theatre performance, The Basket, inspired by local writer and illustrator Quek Hong Shin’s book, The Incredible Basket.
