Go Global with The Hub: Thailand Startup Landscape
Go Global with The Hub is a 'country series' organized by The Hub Singapore to help local entrepreneurs expand their ventures into overseas markets. Learn from experienced entrepreneurs, investors, and in-country experts, and use the insights to develop a fool-proof go-to-market plan for your ventures!
In our second session in this series, we would like to share insights on the Thailand startup ecosystem with you.
Amarit Charoenphan, Co-Founder of HUBBA and Co-Founder of Techsauce, as well as Marcos Ferrer, Co-Founder of 500Trends would be at the Go Global series to share with you current trends in the Thai startup ecosystem, consumer behaviour, their insights into what would work in the country, and their experiences starting up in the country.
Key takeaways from the session include:
1) Understanding the increasingly active role the Government of Thailand is playing in the entrepreneurship/startup investment space
2) Gaining knowledge and learning facts about the startup ecosystem and consumer behaviours
3) Understanding how your hiring team could look like in Thailand
4) Learning from both a local and an expat perspective on starting up in Thailand
5) Learning the process of incorporating or setting up a subsidiary in Thailand
