Cyber Defence and Incident Response: ‘Rough’ rather than ‘Ready’?

The BCI 2016 Horizon Scan showed that cyber attacks such as malware and denial of service are the most common source of concern for business continuity professionals with 85% of respondents stating being ‘extremely concerned’ or ‘concerned’ about this threat.

The BCI South East forum are responding to this concern by using this theme for their latest event which will be held in central London on Friday 15th of July 2016. The event will run from 9.30am to 4.30pm and will include lunch.

Titled 'Cyber defence and incident response: Rough, rather than ready' it features a range of speakers.

Peter Wood, CEO of First Base Technologies will talk about the cyber threat landscape and threat analysis and Rob Shapland, also of First Base Technologies will share lessons from a red team exercise.

Dr Jan Collie, Principal & Senior Forensic Investigator, Discovery Forensics is also a confirmed speaker along with Neil Stinchcombe of Eskenzi PR who will deliver a talk entitle 'Incident Response or No Response'.

More speakers will be announced shortly.

There is a special early bird rate for the event of £50 which is available up to Friday 20th May 2016 after which the price will be £70.
