Tactical Combat Casualty CareThis 2-day TCCC course teaches students the fundamentals of care needed in an emergency situation. The specifics of casualty care in the tactical setting will depend on the tactical situation, the injuries sustained by the casualty, the knowledge and skills of the first responder, and the medical equipment at hand. The focus of the course is to give the operator the ability to recognize, evaluate and control life threatening wounds, airway compromise and chest trauma, that present during a tactical mission.
