Working across cultures

This workshop provides key insights into cross-cultural differences around the world and their impact on international professionals. We like to share our experiences in working in Singapore and the Asian region in an open and interactive way.

Working internationally
We all work with colleagues and clients from many different nationalities and cultural backgrounds, in Singapore as well as in the region or globally. We work with our head offices abroad, with project teams on site or with international teams in the local branch office.
But do we really understand each other and to what extent are our values, structures and processes in alignment? How could we improve our cross-cultural competencies and become truly international professionals?

Cross-cultural competencies
A core characteristic of working across cultures is the ability to handle different beliefs and motivations, values, working methods and communication styles. Smooth and effective collaboration with people from different cultures requires one to have insights into cultural dimensions as well as well-developed cross-cultural competencies such as empathy and flexibility. Increasingly, international companies develop tailored culture & communication programs that enable their managers and staff to work abroad successfully.

We are looking forward to meeting with you!

Lisette Davis (Regional Representative) &
Simone Buijzen (Executive coach)
