St Patrick’s sits on a 6 hectare plot of land which was bought by the La Salle Brothers in 1897 and the original school building dates back to 1933.  The school was well received by the British colonial authorities and also experienced the Second World War when the Japanese Air Force headquarters occupied it.  St Patricks’ also served as the Australian and British hospital during the war. After the war, the Brothers returned and re-established the school  to serve our nation-building needs. The school has served many generations of Singaporeans some of whom are prominent members of society. The Brothers are still living in their residence in the school.14 May 2016 10am, 12pm, 2pm
