and more…-------------------------------Junna Iwasaki ProfileJunna Iwasaki, born in Japan, graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts with BA degree and continued her study at the University for music and performing arts in Vienna majoring in Piano performance (Universitaet fuer Musik und darstellende Kunst WienKlavier Konzertfach), from where she graduated with BM degree with highest honor. She is continuously studying at the Master of Music degree course (Magister Studium) at the University.As Miss Iwasaki was pursuing her career in Europe she received numerous prizes at international piano competitions. This includes, in 2010, she received Diploma award at the 16th International Chopin Competition at Warsaw. Martha Argerich, Jury of the competition gave her a special praise on her performance, and also the same comment was made at the media interview.In 2011, she was invited to perform in the concert commemorating the 200th anniversary of Franz Liszt’s birth at the Musikverein in Vienna.In 2012, she was chosen as a Chanel Pygmalion days Artist.She was invited to perform with Central Aichi Symphony Orchestra,Nagoya Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Keiko Mitsuhashi, Kanagawa Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Shigeo Genda and Kanagawa Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Tomomi Nishimoto.Also in the same year, she toured with violinist Sergey Malov throughout Japan.She is one of the most promising young pianists in Japan who is also seeking her concert artist career overseas.
