～ダウン症のない子どもたち（＝きょうだい）が考えていること～米国マサチューセッツ総合病院でダウン症候群プログラムディレクターを務めるブライアン・スコトコ先生と、 ソーシャルワーカーでありFamily Resource Associates、Inc.の共同創設者でもあるスーザン・ レヴァイン先生がお送りするこのワークショップは、 ディスカッションとインタラクティブなエクササイズを通じて、 両親はダウン症のある人のきょうだいがしばしば提起する質問、 ニーズ、および懸念を探り、 多く寄せられる質問に対しては専門家からの回答を提供します。きょうだいが提起した質問例：- 自分（きょうだい）と違う学校やクラスに行くの？- 将来、妹はどんな仕事をするの？- ダウン症のある本人は、ダウン症であることをしっているの？ 参加対象：本ワークショップはダウン症のない子ども（＝ きょうだい）について、その親や保護者、支援者、教職員、医療従事者含 を対象として質問に答える場です。"きょうだい"を対象としたワ ークショップではありませんのでご注意ください。定員：80名

Workshop description: Through discussion and a series of exercises, parents will explore questions, needs, and concerns raised by children who have a brother or sister with Down syndrome. In this unique online learning opportunity, parents and/or professionals will find some helpful answers to commonly raised questions. Example :-- Does my sister have to go to a different school ?- What kind of job can my syster with Down syndrome get when she is older?- Do people with Down syndrome know they have Down syndrome? *This is an opportunity to answer questions for parents or guardians about their sons and daughters who do not have Down syndrome.
