University of Brighton, College of Arts and Humanities) will present his most
recent work that aims to establish an international network of
interdisciplinary research ‘labs’ focussed on resolving ‘wicked problems’ and
grand challenges. He will propose that the pedagogic and research methods
developed in these labs are vital to the future vitality and relevance of
higher education. He will look at shift in
artistic practice from the studio – to engaging with site/context and complex
ecologies, and ask what artists bring to interdisciplinary enquiry, innovation
and research.*This session is only open to NAFA staff
