Join us in our 8th anniversary celebration and commemoration of Earth Day this year.Immerse yourself in the kampung spirit and culture, while you reminisce those carefree kampung days that were once upon a time. Create art from nature or experience the hustle and bustle of our mini bazaar with your loved ones. Discover our 21st century kampung grounds through an interactive Kampung tour, and participate in our customized workshops and activities that are tailored for all ages.Mark your calendar on April 23rd and join us with your family, friends and loved ones to celebrate this joyous milestone of making our society a more responsible and green community.---✿ KAMPUNG TOUR UPDATE ✿All Kampung Tour slots are currently fully pre-registered. Do come down early as limited slots are available!✿ MORE ABOUT IMAGE TRANSFER ✿Learn how to transfer beautiful images onto surfaces and get creative with our Image Transfer Workshop! Bring along your favourite photo or drawing, and watch the magic as you transfer it onto a wood piece permanently. Get to place it around your home as a reminder of the love surrounding you! ✿ MORE ABOUT WOOD CRAFT AND ITS MAKERS ✿Get to learn basic woodcraft skills and experience the joy of making with our Wood Craft Workshop! Join us as we teach you how to make your very own handphone stand from wood. Participants would get to use tools such as measuring tape, sand paper, angle-ruler, saw, hand drills and etc to make something that is uniquely yours.Wood Craft is designed by Touchwood, the craft arm of Ground-up Initiative. It was set up with the simple objective of getting people to use our hands to create things; be it functional or for display. We hope people could spend less time in the virtual world and be more in touch with nature and people through direct interaction; literally, to "Touch Wood" and be connected with the real world. ✿ UPDATE: NEW WORKSHOP ADDED ✿Sprouting Seeds is a trainer-led creative workshop that is set to enthrall you and your child, as you get together for an intimate story-telling and story-making session. Join us at the dawn of Magical Kampung, from 9.30am to 11am, and experience a fulfilling bonding session with family and nature.Please refer to the poster below for more information about Sprouting Seeds.
