Not sure how yoga can be applied to your creative endeavours? Join Vicky Chong for the second edition of Yoga and Poetry, a workshop especially brought to you as part of Poetry Festival Singapore 2020!Learn more than just movements and poses. Find out how yoga makes us more attuned to our own minds and bodies, helping us be more conscious and deliberate not just as writers and creators, but as individuals. This workshop will be conducted ONLINE by Vicky Chong and Eric Tinsay Valles, who will provide yoga-themed poetry and writing prompts. WHAT IS YOGA?Yoga is a union of mind and body, primarily using the breath. So anything we do - even poetry - can be yoga as long as we put awareness into it. A "yoga flow" involving physical movement and poses is a continuity of a constant conscious state of mind, usually achieved, aided or enhanced by breath control.EVENT DETAILSLIVE-STREAMING EVENT URL link will be given to attendees.Date: 30 August 2020, SaturdayTime: 11:00AM to 12:00PMTicket Pricing:Pay-as-you-wish: $2, $5, $10, $15, $20.
