Dance India Asia Pacific (DIAP) is an exciting and visionary dance education programme for students, teachers and performing artistes of Indian classical dance. Dance India Asia Pacific is organised by Apsaras Arts Ltd in collaboration with Milapfest and supported by Singapore's National Arts Council and Esplanade Theatres on the Bay.DIAP2020 will be a hybrid program with both in-person and on-line sessions, adhering to the COVID-19 health advisory guidelines and observing appropriate social distancing safety measures. DIAP2020 will offer the following programs A. Master Classes in Dance and MusicDance : Dance Master classes will be conducted at the studios in Goodman Arts Centre with the faculty joining in via on-line. 1. Bharatanatyam (Sat 5th, Sun 6th, Sat 12th and Sun 13th September 2020)a. Foundation conducted by PRIYADARSINI GOVIND (Abhinaya) and MOHANAPRIYAN THAVARAJAH (Repertoire) b. Intermediate conducted by RAMA VAIDHYANATHAN (Repertoire), Dr S VASUDEVAN (Music for Dance) and BRGHA BESSEL (Abhinaya)c. Advanced conducted by RAMA VAIDHYANATHAN (Repertoire), Dr S VASUDEVAN (Music for Dance) and BRGHA BESSEL (Abhinaya)d. Teacher's Training conducted by JAYANTHI SUBRAMANIAM (Kalanidhi Narayanan's Abhinaya Techniques) 2. Odissi (Sat 5th, Sun 6th, Sat 12th and Sun 13th September 2020)Master Class conducted by Dr ILLEANA CITRASI3. Kathak (Sat 5th, Sun 6th, Sat 12th and Sun 13th September 2020)Master Class conducted by ADITI MANGALDASPlease find fee details for the above Master Classes in the respective event details). All delegates who have signed up for any off the master classes will include admission to all the Webinar Sessions as detailed below. All in-person sessions will include Lunch and / or Tea Break Refreshments (Vegetarian). Guidelines for Registrations - Required Qualifications for Master Classes Bharatanatyam 1 Foundation (10 years of age and above with min 3-5 years of formal training) 2 Intermediate (16 years of age and above with min 8 years of formal training) 3 Advanced (21 years of age and above with min 10 years of formal training) 4 Teacher's Training (21 years of age and above with min 10 years of formal training)Kathak Master Class (16 years of age and above with min 5 years of formal training)OdissiMaster Class (16 years of age and above with min 5 years of formal training) B. Webinar Sessions DIAP2020 offers Webinar sessions on various topics related to Dance and Music. Participants who register for the any of the chive master classes will be able to attend all the Webinar sessions without any additional fees. Participants can also sign-up for Webinar sessions ONLY - as a package or for selected individual sessions.
