Her stand-up comedy specials, ‘Sharul Channa is a Pottymouth’ and ‘Pottymouth by Sharul Channa’ have been performed in Singapore, Malaysia and India in the past 4 years.She has also been formally trained in theatre from Lasalle, College of the Arts which was the reason for her to continue her passion for acting despite having a flourishing stand-up career. She has performed four one-woman theatre shows; ‘Crazy poor Sita’(Nominee, Best Actress, The Straits Times, Life! Theatre Awards 2020), Disco Sheela and other Indian superwomen, ‘Sharul Weds Sharul’ and ‘Am I old?’ which has also  been recently performed  during Covid-19 as a show on Zoom in collaboration with AWARE. There were 8 shows of ‘AM I OLD?’ which received rave reviews in The Straits Times. This show was then performed in both Tamil and Hindi. Sharul directed and collaborated with a Tamil speaking artist for the Tamil version. About Co-weird Times: She is now set to bring her one-woman virtual stand-up comedy show; ‘Co-weird times’ to a Zoom link near you! This show is all about her views about the Covid-19 pandemic and how it has changed her as a person. From learning how to cook, to keeping the expenses low to getting mistaken as a bank robber with the free black mask given by the government. From performing stand-up on zoom for corporate clients to answering the door a million times to pick up the online delivery items necessary for setting up for virtual performances.  From learning how to wax her own legs to finally learning that she doesn’t really need a lot of things she owns.These have been weird times! Co-weird times to be specific! This show will be performed 6 times over two weeks on zoom. Opening act : 26 year-old Jacky is Singapore’s youngest professional comedian. With a unique sense of style and humor, his wacky stories and observations has made him one of the most popular figures in the local stand up scene.He has performed in comedy shows around Asia and was also the youngest comedian to perform at the Singapore Comedy Fringe Festival 2016.
