In 2006, The Newsweek Japan named him as one of the 100 Japanese respected by the world. He is the lead dancer in various productions of renowned Japanese flamenco theatre company Arte y Solera, and also the artistic director. His flamenco work has expanded to new frontiers with workshops with people with disabilities and collaborations with Kabuki, classical and pop music and so on. Participants will be introduced to basic flamenco guitar technique such as golpe, picado, rasguedo and tremolo. Musical structure of various flamenco forms will also be introduced.
