The theme for the Event is “Technology: Imagine the Possibilities.” The students have been entertained in various cultural and co-curriculum events, but not in a lot of academic ones. By organizing the “IT week 2016” we expect the students to experience a whole new level of competition, not directly dependent on their classes. This event will be an inter-university competition. Over 30 different university Communities are anticipated to participate during this week. “IT week” will be conducted during a period of 3 days involving a different set of competitions everyday which will feature various skill set of students ranging from Designing, Programming to Photography and Short film. Designing will include poster, web and logo. These will be an individual competition in which students can use one of the many designing software available. Programming will be divided into two fields which will be web programming and application programming. Photography competition will be conducted in the campus that day itself during a given time. Screening of short film will take place on the last day of the event before the closing ceremony to all the students. IT Olympiad will be a general set of questions based on information technology and will be conducted in the examination hall.
