【概要】The American Chamber of Commerce in Japan（在日米国商工会議所: ACCJ) が主催するTechnology seriesは、テクノロジーとリーダーシップに焦点を当てたセッションです。「テクノロジーとビジネスを繋げることで社会課題を解決し、よりよい社会を作る」という大きなテーマに取り組むリーダーシップの実像をあぶり出します。Technology Series第三弾では、イギリスよりグローバル・ブレイン株式会社の上前田直樹氏をお招きし、「最新のAI技術の織りなす世界」をテーマにお届けします。ディープラーニング技術の発達とともに注目を集めているAI/Machine Learning技術ですが、徐々に実際の産業・商品への導入へが進んでおり、様々な分野での活用が進んでいます。そういう状況の中、グローバルブレインでは引き続き最先端のAI技術・アプリケーションへの投資を加速させています。本セッションでは、次のような項目についてお話し頂きます。·      最新のスタートアップのエコシステムの状況·      各国ごとの投資状況·      今後さらに注目を集めていくであろう領域、その中でグローバルブレインとしてやろうとしていること投資の実例としてはAIを使って希少疾患の新しい治療法を探るスタートアップであるHealxについてご紹介します。また、キャリアとして、なぜエンジニアからVCというキャリアを選んだのか、という点もざっくばらんにお話し頂きます。＊当イベントは日本語で実施されます.
