Based on her experience leading digital transformation initiatives, Choy Peng will give an overview on why it is so mission-critical for businesses and its key success factors. Following her talk will be an intimate conversation with Choy Peng on her own career development and reflections of Ann Arbor, immediately followed by a Q&A session.Speaker bio: Ms Wu Choy Peng is the Group Chief Information Officer of Singtel. As the Group CIO, she is responsible for the development of the Group's IT vision and roadmap. She also drives synergies to establish excellence in technology management. Before joining Singtel, Ms Wu was the Group CIO of Neptune Orient Lines Group from 2006. She served as the Singapore Government’s Chief Information Officer from January 2000 to June 2006, after holding a range of IT management roles in the Singapore Public Service, where she started her career. Ms Wu is the Deputy Chairman of IDA International Pte Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore. She is also a member of the National University Health System (NUHS) Board, and the Chairperson of the NUHS Information Technology (IT) Committee She holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours with Highest Distinction) in Computer/Communication Science and Mathematics, and a Master of Science in Computer Science/Engineering, both from the University of Michigan. Her husband is also a UM alumnus, and their daughter is currently a student there as well!
