Blessings in a Bag proudly presents our new workshop series: School of Awesome. Over the years we've met awesome people who have stories, skills, talent and heart to share with the World. Some of these people happen to be our very own WorldChangeAgents, each passionate about one thing or another but excited to share it with the rest of our community. So we thought, how can we combine the passion our community has along with our love for doing good things? So it's simple:You + Talented WCA Partner = Change in the Community.Each participant who attends, ticket proceeds will go to a particular area or program that is in need of resources. We are currently under-resourced for our 'Beyond Awesome' program*.We are super stoked to have our very first partners for this series, Band of Doodlers! Band of Doodlers is a collective of doodlers, drawers and character designers bent on covering white walls with doodles. What you can look forward to in your session:Learn the basics of doodlingGet personal doodle support as class sizes are kept smallInspiration for your doodlesExperience free-doodling (no structures, no rules - just fun!)Create your own doodle worldSnap a photo by our doodle wallMeet others in our community who have a love for doodlingWhat you (and/or your child) can take away from the session:creative thinking process,a better understanding of doodlinglearn not to be wary of making mistakes with markers (just have fun)encourage teamwork (collaborative, communication) skills.WorldChangeAgent Leaders currently serving get discounted tickets. Our program currently provides weekend workshop sessions with the future goal of including after-school tutoring, workshops and other learning experiences such as excursions.
