Objects in nature are much more complex than barbells in gym. While lifting weights in the gym does help to condition your body, the things we lift in real life situations are often not balanced and do not present an easy grip. Try lifting a fully unconscious person from the ground during a rainy day by yourself and you will know what we mean. The human body is also evolved to throw objects at high speed for hunting. Compared to other primates, we are much weaker but can throw much farther if we use the catapult in our bodies. Learn how to manipulate objects safely and efficiently!Description: Each group class is an introduction to basic human movement skills such as crawling, balancing, running, climbing, lifting, carrying, catching, and throwing.
