Brian has lived and worked in Asia for over 20 years and spent the past 13 years working with Private Equity and focused on exclusively on Education. He founded A-Star-Education in 2016 and prior to that, Brian served as Chief Executive Officer of Asia Pacific for Cognita for over 8 years. Since founding the business in 2008, Brian grew the Asia business from a start-up to representing over 2/3 of the Group EBITDA. Brian has invested over US$700 million in the Asia Pacific region over the last 10 years across a wide range of both M&A and Greenfield assets in the education sector. Mr. Rogove also led two rounds of private equity investment into Cognita, including the sale of 50% of the company to KKR in 2013. Additionally, he led a £280 million public bond offering in 2015, the first for the Company. He currently serves on the Board of Reach Higher, a non-profit organization focused on equity and access to post-secondary education for first generation students. The Reach Higher Board is Chaired by former First Lady Michelle Obama and was created during her time in the White House. Dr. Elaine Kim, Co-Founder & CEO of Trehaus and Director of Trehaus School Elaine Kim is a medical doctor, entrepreneur and working parent. She is the CEO of Trehaus, as well as founding CEO of CRIB (hyperlink to www.crib.com.sg), a social enterprise that empowers women to become successful entrepreneurs. Her experiences inspired her to start Trehaus and provide a solution for other working parents. She continues to practice medicine part-time as a palliative care doctor looking after terminally ill patients. She is married to venture capitalist John Kim and they have 3 young children. Currently, he is an advisor to PNCI’s education business.Bernard served as the founding CEO of Tadrees Education Holding in KSA, a K-12 education platform sponsored by the Safanad and NCB. He grew the school platform to serve more than 12,000 students in less than 5 years.
