There is so much light and love and holding of space.”💛“After the call, I experienced my first big breakthrough at my work! It couldn’t have happened without the connection and conversations that took place.”💛“As community leaders, it is very rare for us to share openly with what we’re struggling with and the frustrations we have. We are holding onto so many emotions, thoughts and expressions from our community members that it can feel like a lot to handle on our own. This is really a safe space - it’s so rare for something like this and to include it with global leaders, I fully support!”💛“Before I joined the call, I must admit that I had a lot of thoughts like ‘Am I the only one who feels this way?’ and once I got in (to the virtual call) - I felt relieved. I am not alone. The message through these calls is that you are not alone in the world.”💛“What I’m taking away from this experience is love, love, love. It is love. Thank you so much.”💛 “It is so nice to simply show up to this experience just to receive. As a leader, it can draining to continue looking after the needs of others and always thinking ahead and figuring out next steps. What I appreciate about this time together is that I don’t have to ‘prepare’, I don’t have to create or follow an ‘agenda’, there is no goal or task for me to do. I am receiving the gift of being.”About Emily Teng.Community Leader, Life-long learner and friend.Emily Teng is an award-winning and globally recognised community leader. We will gather - distraction free - to talk about what's coming up for us on our personal journeys, what's important for us, what wins we have to celebrate, what pain we can share and hold space in.The intention of these calls is to create more meaningful connections with people we may never have crossed paths with, sharing in our journey will mean less suffering and less feeling alone. It is my hope that these calls will give you true joy from being seen, valued and heard - in a world where it feels we're constantly being drowned out by 'the loudest voice in the room'.My personal passion is to be able to facilitate, encourage and nurture a room full of authentic, meaningful conversations. As a third culture kid, I am also all about diversity - so expect people from different parts of the world joining in!How do these calls take place? These calls will happen in real-time but not IRL (in real life). These will take place on video calls using a platform called ZOOM. You do not need to have a registered Zoom account to join, but if you're joining via the phone, it's best you download the app! (It's free)I'd encourage you to share your video screens where possible so that we can be face-to-face with each other as a group and also to feel supported by real human beings who hold space for each other as we may vent, cry, express emotions or wear our heart on our sleeves.P.S Specific details will be emailed to you as soon as you sign up!Is this therapy? No, it's not and there will not be any 'advice' being prescribed, however in the spirit of sharing - there will be opportunities for each of us to share resources, share from personal experience and what could be of support to someone else. I will point out that it will feel like a group or family dynamic - so there will be instances where after much sharing you may find yourself leaving the calls feeling lighter, refreshed - or at least with a new friend to journey alongside. To make sure you don't miss upcoming calls, please sign up here!
