The Green Collective SG has partnered with Food Citizen to bring you a 3-part series of online composting workshops. Proceeds will go towards two causes that both The Green Collective SG and Food Citizen support:      ACRES      Covid-19 Migrant Support Coalition Life After Food Series of Composting Workshops comprises 3 parts:           1.  Aerobic Composting           2.  Bokashi Composting with the Urban Composter            3.  Vermicomposting These sessions are created for those of you who are new to composting, or have started on your composting journey but would like to get some tips to do it better. Conducted by Food Citizen’s facilitators, they are practitioners of the composting method they teach. They are happy to share their experiences as a learning point, and help you troubleshoot any problems that you’ve encountered - we know there can be many! These workshops also teach and encourage the use of materials readily available in your own homes and features the Urban Composter (available  at The Green Collective SG) in the Bokashi Composting workshop. 27 June - Part 1 :  Aerobic Composting Want to try composting in Singapore but afraid that it will be stinky stanky? In this workshop, the folks at Food Citizen will guide you on how you can make your very own lovely “black gold” that can smell like the rainforest! Learn how aerobic composting can be done in our Singapore tropical climate and HDB. The facilitators at Food Citizen have gone through their fair share of stinky mess and experiments, and they are now ready to help you get on this journey too. With some knowledge, creativity and patience, you too would have the tips you need to create your own aerobic compost bin using materials at home and/or in your garden. The compost you make can be used to grow your lovely plants or vegetables as well.
